As part of the implementation of its recovery plan and the strengthening of its governance, JIRAMA has undertaken a reorganization of its management structure. Accordingly, a new organizational structure has been defined and approved by the Board of Directors to clarify responsibilities, improve management effectiveness, enhance managerial accountability, and boost the company’s overall performance. This reorganization stems from a governance and management decision designed to provide JIRAMA with a managerial structure better suited to its current challenges.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Internal Audit and Control will be responsible for overseeing internal audit, internal control, risk management, and supervision of HSE systems, in order to strengthen risk management, the reliability of processes, compliance, and the continuous improvement of JIRAMA’s governance.
He/She will be responsible for :
– Evaluating internal control, risk management, and compliance systems.
– Conducting audit assignments covering the company’s activities, processes, and entities.
– Formulating, monitoring, and following up on recommendations arising from audits and controls.
– Identifying major vulnerabilities and proposing appropriate corrective measures.
– Defining and steering HSE policy in coordination with the relevant departments.
– Monitoring the implementation of HSE systems and tracking incidents, deviations, and corrective actions.
– Contributing to strengthening governance, transparency, and management discipline.
REQUIRED PROFILE
- Holds a minimum four-year university degree (Bac+4) in audit, finance, internal control, risk management, HSE, or an equivalent field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role in internal auditing, internal control, risk management, or HSE.
- Proficiency in auditing, internal control, and risk management standards.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, synthesize information, and make recommendations.
- Rigorous, independent, ethical, and committed to confidentiality.
