As part of the implementation of its recovery plan and efforts to strengthen its governance, JIRAMA has undertaken a reorganization of its management structure. Accordingly, a new organizational structure has been defined and approved by the Board of Directors to clarify responsibilities, improve management effectiveness, enhance managerial accountability, and boost the company’s overall performance. This reorganization stems from a governance and management decision designed to provide JIRAMA with a managerial structure better suited to its current challenges.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Legal Affairs will be responsible for ensuring the legal security of JIRAMA’s activities and guaranteeing that the company’s deeds, contracts, and decisions comply with applicable laws and regulations.
The person recruited will be responsible for:
– Providing legal advice to Senior Management and the various departments.
– Securing JIRAMA’s contracts, agreements, and commitments.
– Ensuring the legal security of PPA/IPP-type contracts.
– Overseeing the legal management of litigation and coordinating the company’s representation.
– Ensuring the legal compliance of activities.
– Preventing legal risks.
– Providing legal support for strategic projects.
– Monitoring regulatory developments and updating internal policies.
– Supporting the handling of sensitive situations.

REQUIRED PROFILE

– Holds a four-year university degree in Law (Bac+4) (business law, public law, or equivalent).
– At least 7 years of experience in legal advisory, contracts, and litigation.
– Strong command of the legal framework applicable to businesses and public services.
– Ability to analyze and secure complex legal matters.
– Experience supporting the legal aspects of strategic and sensitive projects.
– Rigor, analytical skills, and strong writing ability.
– A high sense of ethics, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.
