ABOUT THE POSITION
Under the supervision of the Deputy General Manager, the Information System Director will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the bank’s servers and software, systems and network administration, as well as the management of the IT infrastructure.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Implementation of IT Strategy
- Define and implement the IT strategy incoordination with General Management
- Establish procedures to optimize ITworkflows and manage risks
- Oversee projects related to theacquisition of hardware, software, and IT services
Operations management
- Identify user needs and proposeappropriate technical solutions
- Ensure the availability, consistency, andsecurity of systems, networks, andbusiness software
- Handle network installation andmaintenance, software development,and overall strategic monitoring
Team management
- Lead, support, and develop the skills of the IT team
- Organize workloads and monitor both individual and team performance
Reporting
- Produce dashboards and implement corrective action plans
- Contribute to the annual closing process and data recovery
Other responsibilities
- Ensure IT security within the bank
- Participate in management committees and represent General Management as per delegation
YOUR PROFILE
- Antananarivo Master’s degree (BACC+5) in Computer Science (networks and development)
- At least 5 years of experience in managing an IT Department
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking or financial sector
- Experience with a Core Banking System, ideally at least one year with Temenos
- Proficient in programming languages, web technologies, and project management
- Fluent in both French and English
- Strong leadership, discipline, and initiative
- Proactive, with strong anticipation and adaptability skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
