EQUATION IS RECRUTING FOR A COMPANY IN MADAGASCAR A COMMUNICATION OFFICER

MISSIONS

Reporting to the Communications Manager, he/she will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to the development of internal and external communications strategies and ensuring their implementation
  • Implementing the communication plan
  • Conducting market research
  • Ensuring the implementation and operational follow-up of communications, sponsorship, and event initiatives
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of media and non-media strategy: producing press reviews, drafting press releases, managing relations with the media and external partners/service providers, etc.
  • Performing administrative tasks (preparing purchase orders, tracking invoices, etc.)
  • Monitor operational activities with service providers and partners
  • Manage social media: develop publication schedules/create content
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of the department’s budget
  • Prepare and present reports by the agreed deadlines

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or equivalent
  • Initial experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Skills in graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator,InDesign, etc.) and video editing would be a plus
  • Excellent writing skills in French and Malagasy
  • Creative, rigorous
  • Good communicator
  • Independent and forward-thinking
  • Proactive, with good interpersonal skills and a good cultural knowledge
  • Motivated, versatile, and dynamic
