EQUATION is recruting for a company affiliated with an international shipping group a GENERAL DIRECTOR
He/she combines skills in business management, leadership, and strategy with a strong ability to adapt and operational involvement. Able to define and implement the company’s strategy while ensuring its day-to-day management and uniting its teams.
Mission
- Develop the company’s overall strategy, taking into account market trends and profitability objectives
- Oversee all company activities, from financial management to human resources management, including operations and commercial management
- Monitor and analyze the company’s results and implement any necessary corrective measures
- Prospect new markets and negotiate contracts
- Represent the company to external partners (customers, suppliers, etc.) and ensure internal and external communication
- Ensure the company’s compliance with regulations and implement risk prevention measures.
Profil
- Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of experience in managerial positions
- Operational experience in the following areas: sales, finance, and human resources
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in shipping or transit and maritime customs
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Professional qualities: a charismatic leader, able to inspire and motivate teams, able to get involved in operational tasks (versatile)
- Personal qualities: rigorous, have a sense of responsibility as well as organizational and negotiation skills, resistance to stress, a sense of initiative
