Since its creation, FTHM Consulting has supported approximately 700 organizations, both public and private. This year, the firm is celebrating its 30th anniversary and receiving the ISO 9001: 2015 certification for the 7th consecutive time, an international label confirming the quality of its services. This certification is issued by SGS Madagascar SARL, a globally recognized organization and a leader in inspection, verification, analysis, and certification. « The certification is valid for three years. It proves that FTHM Consulting’s clients are satisfied and that our working methods are effective. » said Daniel Julie, manager at SGS Madagascar. The official certificate handover took place in Antananarivo last Thursday during a special ceremony. FTHM Consulting was the first consulting firm in Africa to obtain this certification in 2007…
… « Our goal is to always improve the way we work. This has allowed us to operate in about thirty countries in Africa, whether they are French, English, or Portuguese-speaking« explains Thierry Rajaona, founder and managing partner of the company.
Ambitions
Since 1995, FTHM Consulting has recorded an average growth of 15% per year in its turnover. « Today, about a hundred consultants work for the firm, but over 800 experts have passed through over the years.« announced the founder. The company specializes in various fields such as management, strategy, marketing, information systems, human resources, and financial engineering. In addition to its status as a consulting firm, FTHM Consulting also offers training for many professionals. « Some former employees now hold management positions or ministerial roles. » he added. The firm has also played important roles in the country’s economy. In 1998, it was chosen to support the privatization of the state company SOLIMA, which at the time held the monopoly on the right to supply, store, and distribute petroleum products in Madagascar. This mission, carried out with a Canadian firm, allowed groups like Shell, Total, or Vivo Energy to establish themselves in Madagascar. Furthermore, FTHM Consulting continues to support banks and other institutions in implementing information systems. Thanks to this new certification, it confirms its ambition to remain a key reference player, not only on the Big Island but also in Africa.
