Since its first certification in 2007, the firm has been committed to a quality management approach that isn’t satisfied with merely meeting standards. Over the years, it has become a true corporate culture. « The certification is valid for three years, but very few organizations manage to maintain it for so long. This demonstrates not only the effectiveness of FTHM Consulting but also the satisfaction of its clients, » emphasized Daniel Julie, manager of SGS Madagascar, during the ceremony.

Founded in 1994, FTHM Consulting was the first firm in Africa to obtain this quality label. Its founder and managing partner, Thierry Rajaona, sees it as a recognition of their work: « Our goal has always been to constantly improve. This demanding standard has allowed us to operate in about thirty countries in Africa, whether they are French, English, or Portuguese-speaking. »

For the company, this seventh certification holds particular significance: it coincides with its 30 years of existence. Three decades during which the firm has supported over 700 public and private organizations, in domains as varied as strategy, management, human resources, information systems, and financial engineering. FTHM has also distinguished itself in structuring missions, such as supporting the privatization of the oil company SOLIMA in the late 1990s.

But why is ISO 9001 certification so important? In a context where companies must constantly prove their reliability, this international standard attests that internal processes are mastered, that the quality of services is consistent, and that the pursuit of continuous improvement is genuine. For clients, it’s the assurance of a service compliant with global best practices. For employees, it provides a structured, demanding, and value-driven work environment.

With about a hundred permanent consultants and a vast network of experts, FTHM Consulting intends to maintain this momentum. « Quality is not a fixed state; it is a permanent movement » insists Thierry Rajaona. By celebrating its 30th anniversary with this new renewal, the firm reaffirms its ambition: to remain a key reference player in consulting in Madagascar and across the African continent.
