EQUATION is recruiting for the NP AKADIN Group : A TECHNICAL BUYER
Main responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Improvement, Organization, and Purchasing Processes Project Manager, the buyer will be responsible for:
Defining and implementing the Group’s purchasing policy, both locally and internationally
Identifying, auditing, and qualifying suppliers; managing calls for tenders and negotiations
Understanding and challenging complex technical specifications (industry, construction,logistics, etc.)
Ensuring that purchases comply with quality, safety, and environmental standards
Monitoring and analyzing purchasing performance indicators and producing reports
Collaborating with internal teams (technical, production, and logistics) to ensure the relevance of the solutions selected
Managing risks related to currency fluctuations, transportation, and supplier dependencies
Promoting an international and ethical purchasing culture.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree (business school, engineering school) or Master’s degree specialized in purchasing/supply chain management
10 years of experience in strategic and international purchasing roles, ideally in complex environments (industry, construction, logistics, energy)
Previous experience in Africa or emerging countries highly appreciated
Advanced level in French and English
Proficiency in Sage X3 ERP tools or equivalent
